Frequently asked questions
What is epoxy flooring?
Epoxy flooring is a coating system applied over prepared concrete. It creates a finished surface that can be customized with decorative flakes, metallic effects, or solid colors.
How long does epoxy floor installation take?
It depends on the size of the space, the condition of the concrete, the preparation required, and the system chosen. We'll give you a realistic timeline after evaluating your project. Keep in mind installation time is not the same as curing time.
Can flake flooring be installed in one day?
Selected flake flooring projects can be installed in as little as one day, depending on concrete conditions, project size, and preparation requirements. Not every project qualifies, and the floor may need additional time before it can be used.
Why is concrete preparation important?
Preparation helps create the conditions for effective coating adhesion and a professional finish. It's one of the most important steps in the process, and we never treat it as optional.
What affects the price of an epoxy floor?
Common factors include the size of the area, the condition of the concrete, the preparation required, the coating system and finish selected, and the project location. Request an estimate and we'll review your project.
Can I choose my flake color?
Yes. Browse our flake color collection and select a preferred finish — it will be added to your estimate request. Color availability is confirmed before your project.
Do you offer complete garage transformations?
Yes. We combine epoxy flooring, interior garage painting, and hexagon LED lighting for a complete garage makeover.
Do you install hexagon garage lights?
Yes. We install hexagon LED lighting for customized garages and other applicable spaces.
What does your five-year epoxy warranty cover?
Renew Epoxy Co. offers a 5-Year Limited Installation Warranty for epoxy flooring installation workmanship only. This warranty does not cover painting, hexagon lighting, or other non-epoxy services.
Which areas of Florida do you serve?
We're based in Kissimmee and serve customers throughout Florida, subject to project location and availability.
